Day Twenty-six: 12/1/2020 December brings new projects, pause for reflection, & reminders to reach out

Day 26:  My nine client day turned in to eight, which I was thankful for because I got the much needed break and a little more time to get myself focused and organized.  After a long weekend, I really wanted one of my daily naps by late morning.  I had brought my origami paper hoping somewhere I might fold a crane.  That didn't happen.  I got home later than I had planned and found the rest of my fish tank supplies here.  So much of my evening was spent cleaning the decorations that were to go in the tank and then slowly filling the tank up with two 32 oz cups at a time.  Doesn't it look nice?  I really like the LED light and it has a blue tint and then regular lighting.  I'm so excited about getting my fish.  Also hoping the driftwood I have in there eventually sinks to the bottom but I guess fish can swim around it!  Did some more reading and they recommend one gallon per fish so I am only going to be able to fit five in here....

Day Twenty-one: 11/26/2020 A season of gratitude

Day 21:  We woke up at 6:30am, our first day without Ming.   On this morning I was going through a box of dog toys/supplies and found his baby collar.  This was a comfort and I am saving it because a bought a black stuffed dog that should arrive today that will get to wear this.  A quiet morning but sweet time with the other three boys.  I got chores done and asked Jeremy when we should start making our Thanksgiving meal.  He was open to anything.  After about an hour he asked if I had decided, I looked over and said - well I'm hungry now.  So off I went to start cooking probably a little past 9:30am.  We were eating by 11:00am and boy was it tasty!  The rest of the day was folding cranes, doing my new stickers by numbers workbook, playing with the dogs, playing games, checking in with family and a couple of friends, and watching shows.  Night time was hard, right before Ming's bed time routine the tears just started flowing....
